Website Live Chat – The Good, The Bad, and my Experiences

The Problem: Customers Want Live Communications To Get Their Questions Answered, without having to ‘talk’ to a real person, IN PERSON.

The Solution: JivoChat.com A Live, Real Time, Communications Platform without the actual “in person – live – commitment.”

Let me explain. There are industries that have amazing products and great sales pages and are very compelling to the end consumer – BUT the end user may still have a question about “if it’s the right Choice” for them.

NOW you would think they would Pick Up The Phone and Call BUT that’s a huge commitment and deep inside they feel that if they call, then they will have to listen to a “sales pitch” from a high pressure salesman so they decide to not call and continue researching.

What about sending an email? Sending an email to ask a simple question is to much work… Think about it. You don’t send one either, neither does your potential prospect.

BUT what if there were a way to talk to them live, and give them the anonymity they seek? We’ll there is – JivoChat.com

Why JivoChat.com is the tool of my choice for Live Chat software options.

1) It allows me and my clients to interact with their potential customers, while still giving the customer the cloak of anonymity. At Least That’s What They Perceive (more on this in a few)

2) Very Easy Setup – Can be up and running in minutes and integrates with mobile devices.

3) User interface is Easy to use, lots of useful settings and even conditional logic capabilities that do not require a computer science degree to configure.

4) Most Important Of All: It Just Works.

Lets clarify “It Works.”

In the reference above, I am specifically talking about “Jivo Chat” the Live Chat Software application itself along with the application integration for me AND my clients desktop computers and mobile phones (both android and apple) in the above example.

Lets expand upon “It Works” with some real life case study examples.

While I was searching online, I found some information and this ‘live chat’ option popped up and asked if there was anything he could help me with. THINKING this was another bot option or one of those ‘chats’ that is not a real “live” chat, I typed in “are you a real person?'” He typed back yes, I am. So I asked, “if that’s the case what color is a purple cow?” Purple he replied and then I proceeded to ask my question completely satisfied I was in fact talking to a real live person without actually having to talk to him… it was just like texting but different and really cool…

I left the conversation so impressed with this interaction, I proceeded to investigate and dig into JivoChat and what it is.

I contacted the developers by going to their site (Jivochat.com) and asking questions on their site through the application and very quickly was directed to the appropriate person for a FREE test drive of their software.

I was thinking to myself, this worked to good. This is to easy. This is going to be expensive… and boy was I wrong. It’s VERY AFFORDABLE!

Fast forward a year. I have installed JivoChat on my site and a few of my clients sites.

Findings: Depending on the niche, determines the amount interaction you’ll receive.

I have a site that during peek times, it takes 2 people to keep up. and then I have another site that gets good traffic but only one or two interactions, a month AND I have ONE site that has never had a chat come through except my tests to make sure it’s working (and yes, it has traffic).

Where it really matters is the test. I had one client that said this will never work and within ONE DAY he had a new client as a result of installing JivoChat on the site. He is now forever hooked.

True story. Yesterday (03-16-18) A client called and asked if I could change a few settings on her JivoChat Setting and require a visitor to leave a phone number. I said “yes I can & okay.” She explained that the electric company had inadvertently remove the cable that contained her business phone lines when they were upgrading the electrical systems outside and the only way she was getting customer reservation requests is through her JivoChat. The phone company said it will be at least two weeks before they can get there to re-install the new phone lines. Can you imagine two weeks without your company phone line working?

In conclusion, if you are looking for a live chat software application to have on your website (and you should have one) JivoChat is the best solution I’ve found to date, and I’ve tried many.
